In order for St. Bartholomew to sign off on your senior project you must fill out the senior project application. We ask that you take time and be detailed in completing the application. Once you have submitted your application Parish Staff will review your application and will get back to you.
Some things to note:
All projects must have a parish contact person. This person, generally, is a leader of a parishministry and will act as the project mentor. The parish contact person should be able to oversee and provide guidance for the project from start to finish.
All senior projects must be approved by the Pastoral Team BEFORE the project is started
All senior projects must benefit a ministry of St. Bartholomew. All senior projects should be linked to a particular ministry of the church.
Once a project is approved by the Pastoral Team , the teen must submit a copy of the applicationto whomever is in charge of Senior Projects at their school. The proper teachers at each High School have been notified to not accept any senior project from St. Bartholomew without this form.
St. Bartholomew will NOT accept last minute applications.
St. Bartholomew will accept up to 10 senior projects a year. After that it is up to the discretion andjudgment of the pastoral team to accept additional projects.
While St. Bartholomew Catholic Church is willing to help seniors complete this milestone of their lives, we remind seniors that this is their project and their responsibility! It is not their parents, not their mentor’s, and not their parish contact person’s project. They are responsible for organizing, running, and completing the project.
