The Peace and Justice Ministry will hold a Voter Registration drive on March 19-20 for the May 3 primary election. A parishioner will be available in the Narthex at the end of each mass that weekend to answer questions about the voting process. We will have forms to register to vote and to request a ballot to be sent to you to vote absentee-by-mail for 2022. You can also register to vote, check your registration or see where to vote and who is on the ballot at the Indiana Voting Portal: www.indianavoters.in.gov. A primary election is to select the party candidates for the Nov 8 general election and often has an initiative/public question that applies to all voters. Voter Registration ends April 4. Early voting begins April 4 at the former Fair Oaks Mall or at the Bartholomew County Office Building, 440 3rd St. “We need to participate for the common good. Sometimes we hear: a good Catholic is not interested in politics. This is not true. Good Catholics immerse themselves in politics by offering the best of themselves so that the leader can govern.” -Pope Francis, 9/16/13
