Do you wish to address racism in your community, but you don’t know where to begin? Presented through the lens of the Christian faith, JustFaith Ministries NEW module Faith & Racial Equity: Exploring Power & Privilege is an eight-week module that awakens individuals and groups to racial injustices within our political and economic systems that empower some and oppress others. Participants deepen their understanding through prayer, dialog, active listening and relationship building, as well as reading and video resources. Small group discussion is limited to fifteen participants. Two evening retreat sessions and eight weekly evening sessions will be facilitated by two volunteers on Wednesday September 9, Monday September 14, and Mondays September 21, 28, October 5, 12, 19, and 26, November 2 and 9. Location will be on St. Bartholomew campus or via Zoom Meeting, to be determined. There is a cost for books and reading materials of $50. This program is sponsored by the Peace and Justice Ministry.
