DACA Presentation by The Peace & Justice Ministry Time: Wednesday, April 14, 2021 06:00 to 7:30 PM EDT
As part of our exploration of Fratelli Tutti, the latest Papal Encyclical, please join us for a virtual 90-minute update on the status of DACA. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is a United States immigration policy that allows some individuals brought to the country as children to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and become eligible for a work permit in the United States.
Led by Matt Souza, this presentation will update participants on current status and policies, and the impact of policies on the community. Information about opportunities to support DACA students in our community will be presented as well.
