Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP)
Christ Renews His Parish is a program designed to bring members of a parish together in Christ. The emphasis during the weekend is on small group participation. The process is centered around witnessing by presenting team members. Discussion and sharing is enjoyed by all participants.
The weekend is open to all adult parishioners of St. Bartholomew Parish. The renewal weekend is a gift from the presenting team. No one in attendance is ever solicited for funds. You may, however, make private and/or anonymous donations should you be so inspired. Click on menu bar above for the registration form.

Please Note - Due to a decrease in attendees, our Christ Renews His Parish Continuation Committee made a very difficult decision to temporarily discontinue all weekends for a three year period.  It is the hope of the committee that we will be able to "resurrect" Christ Renews His Parish in the near future.  If you are interested in assisting with future Christ Renews weekends please contact the Adult Faith Formation Office at 379-9353, ext.  240.

Cursillo
Cursillo is an Archdiocesan retreat opportunity. Men's and Women's retreats are offered twice a year. Current parish coordinators are Tom and Sandy LaBarbera and Stephanie and Patrick McKinney.

Healing Ministry
Healing ministers are available after the 8:00 and 10:30 A.M. Masses. Ministers will meet with you at the Blessed Sacrament chapel of the Church to pray in confidence with you for God's healing touch.
Training sessions are offered for those who are interested in serving in this ministry. Call the Adult Faith Formation
Office (812-379-9353 ext. 240) for more information.

Men's Ministry (click here)
Men's Ministry meets the first Thursday in the basement of the St. Bartholomew Church. See Mission Statement and Activities for more information. All men of the parish are welcome as well as guests.
Men enjoy a light breakfast, conversation, singing, prayer and discussion centering around a short message given by a speaker. This is an excellent opportunity for men to meet and get to know other men of the parish.
Wednesday Noon Mass is hosted by Men's Ministry the second Wednesday of the month.
Men's Ministry also sponsors the Annual Retreat to St. Meinrad.

ECHO
ECHO (Embracing Catholic Heritage Outreach) provides an opportunity for parishioners to learn more about Catholic faith and tradition through guest lecturers and videos, as well as through their religious goods store. Various speakers and programs are sponsored by the group, and inforamtion regarding these programs is printed in the bulletin. The ECHO relgious goods store is located in the lower level of the church, and is open for purchases the first Sunday of each month.  Many religious items are available, including books, rosaries, statues and gifts.

Ministry to the Aging
Assists the elderly in both spiritual and physical needs. Mass is offered in nursing homes and Holy Communion is taken to the homebound. General assistance with other needs is given as the needs arise. In the near future there is a plan to create a Connections program between seniors and younger parishioners to insure the elderly receive the help needed, which will be provided by various organizations of the parish.

A senior luncheon is offered once a month during the school year, for all seniors of the parish.  A hot meal is served, door prizes given away, and occasionally guest speakers or presenters are offered.  There is no charge for this luncheon, but good will donations are accepted.

RCIA - Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
RCIA meets on Thursday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. in the lower level of the church.  RCIA is an opportunity to learn more about our Catholic faith and traditions through the Sacraments, Scripture and Christian Service. For more information contact Kathy Davis-Shanks at 379-9353 ext. 240.
